WEOKIE Federal Credit Union’s CEO Jeff Carpenter joined us on the show to share how his credit union and a coalition of nine other local credit unions in Oklahoma City are coming together to host a free concert at Scissortail Park on September 27, 2025 called "CU in the Park" music festival.

Jeff provided a quick overview of CU in the Park music festival and what sets concert apart from other event sponsorships that a credit union might take on.

He also discussed more about that cooperation and collaboration among these credit unions, as well as the ask for credit unions that agree to participate.

In addition, Jeff shared benefits for participating credit unions and advice for credit unions interested in pursuing an event like this.
