We're in the closing months of prime home shopping season for the summer before school starts next month. Did I just say schools starts next month? My how time flies.

But credit unions nationwide have been closing loans left and right this year from members buying new homes and getting settled prior to the fall months upon us. One credit union that has had an exceptional year in mortgage lending already is Georgia United Credit Union.

World Council Young Credit Union Professionals (WYCUP) took over the Studio Lounge at WCUC to express the incredible impact the group has had on the credit union industry attracting and retaining young leaders for tomorrow. We all know credit unions need to get younger (members and staff) to continue the incredible work they accomplish worldwide. WYCUP is an integral piece of this puzzle that helps strive for this goal year after year.

Leading the gathering at this year's WCUC are industry high achievers Brandi Stankovic, Darren O'Reilly, and Tyler Valentine. Each provides their point of view on how this group will continue bringing in and "bringing up" talented leaders to benefit credit unions for years to come.
