Enrich was created by San Diego-based firm iGrad and is used by more than 20,000 employers and more than 300 financial institutions nationwide. Enrich employs artificial intelligence technology that engages each user with the most relevant content based on their unique financial situation and stage of life -- a "Money Personality," if you will.

Ciara and Derek shared that the new platform provides:
  • The Your Money Personality™ financial behavior assessment that analyzes each user’s financial “personality.”
  • Financial education courses with personalized action plans on topics including budgeting, mortgages, healthcare, college savings, student loan repayment, banking, credit, financial planning, and more.
  • Gamified, interactive financial wellness courses.
  • Retirement and home affordability analyzers.
  • A suite of student loan and higher education tools.
  • Personal finance calculators, a real-time budget tool, and goal tracking.

Our good friend of the show -- as well as speaker, author, emcee, entrepreneur, photographer/videographer, cancer fighter, etc. -- Andy Janning joined us to share his latest venture in his efforts to help folks who have been impacted by cancer mentally, physically, and financially.

Andy stopped by to share the news that he has launched the Life Over Debt Alliance, an alliance of credit unions banded together to deliver help and hope to members in cancer-related financial distress.

Here's a taste of how the alliance works to benefit impacted members:
  • Pausing payments and interest accrual for 6-12 months on mortgages, car loans, credit cards, and personal loans so the member can afford to heal,
  • A Cancer Care Loan with no payments or interest for 6 months to help relieve short-term financial headaches, and
  • Offering in-depth financial counseling to help the member create lifelong financial wellbeing for themselves and their family

He also discussed why he started this alliance and why a credit union should join this movement -- within a movement, if you will, as this alliance has "credit union" written all over it.

Andy explained what Life Over Debt will give your credit union to help members in this fight: latest research, best practices, procedures, webinars, multimedia stories, resources, and much, much more.

Lastly, he shared how credit unions can get involved -- and there are plenty of takers already.

Joel Sequeira, Director of Product at GBG IDology, stopped by the show to share findings from their "9th Annual Global Fraud Report" -- as well as best practices for credit unions to help protect themselves from today's growing fraudulent activity.

Joe shared a quick overview of this latest fraud report, as well as a couple of key factors credit unions are facing in the world of trying to meet the consumer demand for frictionless onboarding — while, at the same time, ensuring a secure and protected experience.

He also talked about high level opportunities credit unions have by taking a seamless onboarding approach for new members and how frictionless identity verification can help with that process.

Joel provided some key stats found in the fraud report affecting all businesses, and in particular any affecting financial service organizations like credit unions and banks in their services to members and customers.

In addition, he shared best practices credit unions should apply to 2025 operations to ensure fraud risk is mitigated in an age of rampant AI-related fraud.

Lastly, Joel explained how human-managed AI practices can help mitigate identity fraud for credit unions in the future -- pointing to IDology reference material: "Defend Against AI-Generated Fraud, Unlock Opportunity and Mitigate Risk, and Why AI Needs to Be Smarter?"
