Nearly every time a credit union CEO retires these days, it's bittersweet. The folks in this industry are cut from a different cloth -- a cloth of humbleness, grace, and possessing a genuine gene for caring. Nobody embodies these traits better than Cabrillo Credit Union's retiring CEO Robin Lentz. Robin announced the she will step down March 2017 from being CEO at Cabrillo for 37 amazing years.
She was kind enough to stop by our Studio Lounge for a quick chat on her career, biggest changes she's seen over the years, what it's like to be the very first credit union to sign on with a brand new core processor -- not once but twice, and some insightful advice for incoming leaders to carry our industry another few decades.
Enjoy this delightful chat with Robin -- and a big thank you to her serving this industry over the last 30 years.
