Synergent® is excited to announce Altamaha Federal Credit Union has signed new seven-year agreements for hosted Jack Henry™ Symitar® core processing and a suite of integrated services that includes digital banking, bill pay, mobile deposit capture, check processing, statement processing, and check printing. The agreement supports the credit union as it continues to build on decades of service and invest in its future following the recent celebration of its 70th year. The decision reflects a period of positive momentum for Altamaha Federal Credit Union following the appointment of President and CEO Jodi Lewis in March 2025. With new leadership in place and a strong foundation already established, the credit union is focused on strengthening operations, supporting staff, and continuing to enhance the experience it provides to members. “We are excited about our new partnership with Synergent,” said Jodi Lewis, President and CEO of Altamaha Federal Credit Union. “As we began the process of selecting a new core provider, our goal was to find a solution that could grow alongside our organization. Synergent offers the individualized service we need as a smaller credit union, while also providing access to a core system that is widely recognized as one of the best in the industry.” At an operational level, the partnership brings Altamaha Federal Credit Union’s team and technology together in a way that supports the credit union’s everyday work while keeping an eye on what’s next. Core processing and key services are aligned in a way that emphasizes consistency, collaboration, and steady progress for staff and members alike. “Altamaha Federal Credit Union brings a deep sense of history and responsibility to the way they operate,” said Tyler Hudson, President of Synergent. “That long-standing commitment to their members and community is clear, and we appreciate the trust they’ve placed in Synergent as a long-term partner to support their team with technology and service.” Headquartered in Jesup, Georgia, Altamaha Federal Credit Union has 10,700 members and holds over $70 million in assets. Its field of membership is open to individuals who live, work, worship, or attend school in Wayne and Long counties, as well as immediate family members of current members.
