APCU/Center Parc First Credit Union in Georgia to Launch Greenlight Program as a Free Member Benefit

APCU/Center Parc Credit Union – Georgia's oldest credit union with more than $2.3 billion in assets and serving over 107,000 members nation-wide, announced it will be offering new solutions and resources to better serve families and help the next generation build healthy financial futures. Now, APCU/Center Parc members will have free access to an award-winning family finance app and debit card from Greenlight® Financial Technology, Inc. (“Greenlight”).

As many as 91% of kids and teens believe they need financial knowledge and skills to achieve their life goals, and 94% of parents agree, according to Greenlight’s 2024 Researchscape study. Parents also rank personal finance as the No. 1 most difficult life skill to teach their children, with 81% saying they wish they had more financial education tools and resources (Greenlight, 2023). Additionally, American teens score an average of 64% on the National Financial Literacy Test, showing that there is a clear lack of financial education that is accessible and effective.
