California’s Credit Unions provided an update today on the ongoing search for its next President and Chief Executive Officer and offers clarity on the leadership transition timeline, as well as the organization’s continued commitment to Fuel Solutions and the three-state alliance. As the organization moves through this transition, California’s Credit Unions remains focused on keeping members informed and ensuring the process reflects the thoughtful, transparent, and member-centered approach members expect. The Board of Directors reaffirms its strong support for Fuel Solutions, the nonprofit support organization established through the strategic alliance with Nevada’s Credit Unions and Utah’s Credit Unions. Fuel Solutions plays a critical role in delivering shared services across the three-state alliance and provides a scalable platform to support future growth and collaboration. The organization recognizes some confusion regarding the California’s Credit Unions President and CEO role, including its relationship with Nevada’s Credit Unions and Utah’s Credit Unions, as well as how the Fuel Solutions model operates. To address these questions directly, California’s Credit Unions has prepared a comprehensive FAQ for its members that outlines both the leadership search process and the alliance collaboration framework. Members also have an opportunity to discuss these topics during the next Monthly CEO Call, scheduled for Thursday, December 18, 2025.
