Canvas Credit Union, Colorado’s third largest credit union, is proud to announce the opening of its newest location, the Weber Branch, in the heart of downtown Colorado Springs. This expansion represents an exciting milestone in the credit union’s continued growth trajectory across Southern Colorado, bringing Canvas’ member-focused service and community spirit to even more individuals and businesses in the region.

The new Weber Branch will be located at 201 N Weber St. and brings new life to a historic 124-year-old Nash Rambler dealership in the Weber-Wahsatch Historic District. Preserving its character while adding modern design, the branch features restored wood beams, exposed steel trusses and a community mural. Bright, open interiors and a glass-enclosed Community Room create a warm, inviting space for members, supported by energy-efficient systems that reflect a commitment to sustainability.

“Southern Colorado is an important part of Canvas’ future, and the opening of our Weber Branch reflects our deep commitment to serving this vibrant community,” said Chad Shane, President & CEO of Canvas Credit Union. “We are thrilled to for the opportunity to support our members achieve their financial goals with heart, expertise and innovation.”

The official ribbon cutting event for the Weber Branch will take place on Friday, November 21, marking the official opening and celebration of Canvas’ newest location in Southern Colorado.

“Opening the Weber Branch is about more than just adding a new location — it’s about creating deeper connections in Southern Colorado,” said Steve Ferrero, Chief Community Engagement Officer. “We’re excited to welcome members into a space designed for collaboration, support and growth, and to continue building lasting relationships in the Colorado Springs community.”

The Weber Branch marks the next chapter of Canvas Credit Union’s impact in Southern Colorado, building on the organization’s mission to provide members with more than banking — offering financial empowerment, connection and care.
