Capital Area Federal Credit Union Renews Core Processing Partnership with Synergent

​Synergent® is proud to share that Capital Area Federal Credit Union has renewed its technology agreement, extending a trusted relationship focused on stability, service, and long-term support for members. The renewal includes a ten-year agreement for hosted Jack Henry™ Symitar® core processing; five-year agreements for digital banking and check processing; and a two-year agreement for mobile deposit capture. The credit union also partners with Synergent for additional services such as integrated card services and statement processing.
 
Capital Area Federal Credit Union has built its reputation on providing dependable financial services to members across central Maine. The renewed agreement ensures the credit union’s core systems and digital tools continue to support consistent day-to-day operations while giving its team the flexibility to adapt as member expectations evolve.

With the extended agreement in place, Capital Area Federal Credit Union and Synergent will continue collaborating on core processing and integrated services that support secure, efficient operations. Dedicated expertise and responsive support allow the credit union’s staff to remain focused on serving members while maintaining a technology environment prepared for future enhancements and regulatory requirements.

Headquartered in Augusta, Maine, Capital Area Federal Credit Union has 4,006 members and holds over $68 million in assets. Its field of membership is open to individuals who live, work, worship, or attend school in Kennebec, Waldo, or Lincoln counties; businesses and other legal entities located in those counties; and relatives of current members or individuals residing in the same household.
