Cardinal Credit Union Opens New Branch in Canfield; Ribbon Cutting and Grand Opening Scheduled for July 10

​Cardinal Credit Union, the official credit union of the Cleveland Browns and a member-owned, not-for-profit financial cooperative, announced today the opening of its Canfield branch, located at the intersection of Route 224 and South Raccoon Road, at 6458 South Raccoon Road. The new facility offers expanded space and new services such as Interactive Teller Machines (ITM), along with standard banking amenities for credit union members.
 
The Canfield branch, a short drive from its former Austintown location that served this northeastern Ohio area, is fully operational and ready for banking transactions immediately. Members will be welcomed with an open house at 11 a.m. on July 10, featuring coffee, donuts, games, and free giveaways. An 11:30 a.m. ribbon-cutting ceremony with local dignitaries and government officials also is planned and is open to the community, along with Cardinal Credit Union members.
 
Situated within the Youngstown-Warren-Boardman metro area, the Canfield location represents a relocation of the Austintown branch, which closed at the end of May to make way for the new branch that provides more advanced services for its members. In total, Cardinal serves multiple counties in northeastern Ohio.

While some of the nation’s largest banks are shutting branch locations, Cardinal Credit Union continues to invest in the community while offering a modern approach to branch services. Additionally, Cardinal Credit Union provides an integrated financial education program to six area high schools and Lakeland Community College, where Cardinal operates several in-school branches.
