Collins Community Credit Union has selected Jason MacDonald as its next President/CEO. The selection follows an extensive search facilitated by DDJ Myers, the well-known executive search and leadership development firm.

“We’re so excited to welcome Jason to Collins Community. We’re confident that his experience, willingness to pioneer innovative solutions and passion for driving strategic growth will lead our credit union into a strong future as we seek to Aspire, Ignite and Achieve for the benefit of our members and communities,” says Marsha Schulte, Chairperson of the Collins Community Credit Union Board of Directors.

An executive with nearly 20 years of experience, MacDonald most recently served as Chief Information, Strategy & People Officer for Keesler Federal Credit Union. He also previously served as Senior Vice President, Information Technology for Central Minnesota Credit Union.

“I am truly honored to join Collins Community Credit Union and look forward to working alongside the team to keep our members at the center of all we do while actively engaging with the community,” says Jason MacDonald. “Together, I know that we will continue our mission to make a difference every single day and show our members that they matter more than their money.”

"My experience with DDJ Myers was exceptional. They took the time to truly understand my career goals and found the perfect opportunity that aligned with them. Overall, their professionalism, knowledge, and support made all the difference," Jason says.

Jason earned his Master of Arts in IT Leadership from the College of St. Scholastica and his Bachelor of Science, MIS, from the University of Wisconsin Superior. He is a lifelong learner and an active community volunteer. Jason is married to his wife Sarah. Together, they have 4 children and 2 standard poodles. In his free time, he loves to travel, cook, golf, enjoy the outdoors, and spend time with his family.
