DESERT FINANCIAL CEO JEFF MESHEY APPOINTED TO ARIZONA CARDINALS FOUNDATION ADVISORY BOARD

​Desert Financial Credit Union CEO and President Jeff Meshey will serve as an Advisory Board Member to the newly launched Arizona Cardinals Foundation, a nonprofit initiative dedicated to serving Arizona’s special needs community.

Meshey will help guide the Foundation’s mission and amplify the Cardinals’ charitable impact, drawing on his experience as a past Chair of the American Heart Association Board in Phoenix and his long-standing involvement in statewide philanthropic efforts.

“I am honored to join the Arizona Cardinals Foundation Advisory Board,” said Meshey. “This new Foundation is a powerful platform to create meaningful change for individuals and families living with intellectual and developmental disabilities. I look forward to collaborating with my fellow advisory board members to strengthen its impact across Arizona.”

The Arizona Cardinals Foundation marks the evolution of the team’s charitable arm, formerly known as Cardinals Charities. At its launch in late July, the Foundation announced multi-year support for four cornerstone nonprofit partners: Southwest Autism Research & Resource Center (SARRC), Barrow Neurological Foundation, Special Olympics Arizona and Treasure House.

Meshey’s appointment builds on the existing relationship between Desert Financial and the Arizona Cardinals. In 2024, the credit union became the team’s official banking partner, a multi-year collaboration focused on fan engagement, financial education and community outreach. In August 2025, Desert Financial was named a founding partner of the Arizona Cardinals Foundation.
