Ent Credit Union has been named a 2025 Partner in Philanthropy by the Denver Business Journal, a prestigious honor recognizing companies that demonstrate exceptional commitment to community service and corporate giving. Ent celebrated the recognition alongside other honorees at the Partners in Philanthropy Awards Luncheon Thursday, Oct. 9 at Kevin Taylor’s at the Opera House in Denver.

This recognition is especially meaningful to Ent, whose mission goes beyond financial services to focus on people over profits. In 2024, Ent contributed $2.4 million to 273 Colorado nonprofits and logged more than 4,000 volunteer hours through its employees. These efforts supported initiatives in children’s health and well-being, financial literacy, education, and community enrichment.

Looking ahead, Ent plans to give $3 million in 2025, but the credit union emphasizes that its impact is measured not just in dollars, but in lives changed.

“Being named a Partner in Philanthropy affirms what we believe at Ent: that our work is about people,” said Annie Snead, Ent Credit Union executive director of philanthropy and community relations. “We’re committed to building lasting partnerships that go beyond financial support. Our aim is and always will be collaborations rooted in trust, shared purpose, and a desire to create real, lasting impact. This recognition reflects the heart that our members, employees, and nonprofit partners lend to strengthening Colorado communities.”

Ent’s philanthropic strategy is rooted in intentionality, focusing on long-term partnerships and systemic change. In 2025, Ent continues to prioritize funding for early childhood care, behavioral health, housing stability, and financial education, which are all areas identified as critical to building a more equitable Colorado. As Ent and Wings Credit Union continue to move forward with a merger of equals, the newly combined credit union intends to commit even more across all the communities it serves.

The Denver Business Journal selects honorees through an independent editorial review, recognizing organizations that demonstrate authentic community impact and leadership in corporate social responsibility. Read more about Ent’s philanthropic work here.
