She was placed by DDJ Myers, the well-known executive search and leadership development firm. "Financial Center stands on a strong foundation of service, innovation, and commitment to our members. Ning Duong brings exceptional leadership experience and a proven track record of operational excellence that aligns perfectly with our strategic vision,” says Tom Spahr, Board Chair. “Under her guidance, we are confident Financial Center will continue to grow stronger, deliver greater value to our members, and enhance our impact in the communities we serve." The credit union’s rich history and enduring commitment to its mission, core values, and people strongly resonate with me. I look forward to working in partnership with the Board and team to build on the strong foundation already in place,” says Duong. Duong is widely regarded as a collaborative leader, mentor, and advocate for the credit union movement. She holds both the U.S. Credit Union Development Educator (CUDE) designation and the GlobalDE designation from Canada. They were thorough, candid, and highly communicative, and their structured process reflected a deep respect for both the role and the people involved,” says Duong. Outside of work, Duong has been married to her high school sweetheart for 27 years. They are proud parents of two adult children and a teenager. She enjoys traveling, exploring different cultures, and discovering new foods.
