MDT, a CUSO that helps credit unions navigate complex financial technology ecosystems, today shared highlights from its MDT E3 Conference at The Westin Book Cadillac in the heart of Detroit, Michigan last month.

The event brought together 300 attendees, including credit union executives, fintech providers and Jack Henry and MDT employees. There were nearly 45 inspiring and educational sessions at the conference. Opening keynote speaker Jia Jiang, author of Rejection Proof, challenged attendees to rethink rejection as a catalyst for resilience and growth. MDT executives shared a strategic update around its elevated go-forward strategy and Greg Adelson, Jack Henry’s president and CEO, shared the latest developments from Jack Henry. Other sessions featured high-impact topics such as fintech trends, cybersecurity best practices, AI advancements and more.

Ryan Chism, CIO of Colorado Credit Union, has attended MDT E3 for the past several years. He shared, “I look forward to this conference every year because it feels like we’re meeting with family we talk to all the time; MDT is truly an extension of our team. MDT has been and continues to be a trusted resource to our credit union, and this event provides a unique and valuable opportunity to collaborate, brainstorm and engage with MDT team members as well as other credit unions.”

The event also offered multiple networking opportunities, enabling attendees to connect and deep dive into meaningful conversations, including a scenic Detroit River boat tour. The conference concluded on a high note with the announcement of the MDT E3 Award winners, recognizing team members, clients and partners who helped elevate the event by sharing their experiences across social media.

“This year’s MDT E3 brought our credit union community together in meaningful ways – through impactful sessions, authentic networking and a shared commitment to advancing the credit union movement,” said Chris Kowal, CEO and president of MDT. “More than just a conference, E3 is an experience intentionally designed to spark connection, deliver relevant insights and strengthen the partnerships that help us collectively succeed.”
