OCEAN FINANCIAL FEDERAL CREDIT UNION AND MOLLOY UNIVERSITY ANNOUNCE FINANCIAL LITERACY PARTNERSHIP5/1/2023 Ocean Financial Federal Credit Union has pledged $500,000 over a five-year period to Molloy University that will aim to improve the financial literacy of Molloy students. The partnership was announced at Molloy University’s annual “Evening of Entertainment” on Friday, March 31. “Our mission is to help our community thrive through an effective understanding of their finances so they can support others who need it,” said Joe Tedesco, President and CEO of Ocean Financial Federal Credit Union. “This partnership will increase students’ financial literacy and help them be more confident and comfortable with their financial journey after graduation.” The sponsorship will support a variety of initiatives:
“Molloy’s mission is aligned with Ocean Financial’s, as we both were founded on the Catholic principle of service. Like us, Ocean Financial seeks to help students become successful, contributing members of their communities,” said Edward Thompson, Vice President for Advancement at Molloy University. “This is our largest corporate gift ever and it is fitting that it comes from an institution that is doing such good work for our community.
