Digital banking solutions provider Tyfone today announced Palmetto Citizens Federal Credit Union (Palmetto Citizens) has selected its nFinia® Digital Banking platform for commercial and retail account holders. The credit union cited the platform's configurability and ability to meet the digital needs of its members and small- and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) as the key reasons for its decision.

Headquartered in Columbia, S.C. with more than $1.3 billion in assets and 86,000 members, Palmetto Citizens operates 14 physical branches across the midlands region. The credit union is migrating to nFinia to provide its members with more personalized digital banking tools and features, as well as offer business owners in the community a “one-stop-shop” business banking platform. According to the credit union, nFinia will be integral in expanding the bank’s digital branch offerings, while providing members a more robust and engaging experience.

"Tyfone's nFinia platform will transform how we connect with our members, offering sophisticated personalization capabilities that allow us to deliver relevant financial solutions tailored to their individual needs,” said Chris Terlinden, Chief Marketing Officer, Palmetto Citizens FCU. “This migration also is key to our future expansion and growth, enabling us to provide more sophisticated services to both our personal and business members.”

The nFinia Digital Banking platform is a scalable and configurable platform that delivers an intuitive banking experience for members, enabling them to quickly access both personal and business accounts with a single login. The platform’s configurable, open, API-driven infrastructure enables Palmetto Citizens to easily integrate with existing third-party retail and business applications to support members’ specific technology needs and goals.

"While our 14 branches remain vital touchpoints for members who value face-to-face interaction, we recognize that our digital branch is equally critical for meeting evolving expectations and driving future growth,” continued Terlinden. “With nFinia, we are delivering a premium digital experience with seamless access to financial services and third-party offerings, all while maintaining the personal touch that defines Palmetto Citizens Federal Credit Union. This partnership positions us to reach more members, serve them better, and grow alongside the communities we're proud to serve."

Palmetto Citizens is also leveraging Tyfone’s Skip-A-Pay and Quick Pay solutions. These two loan servicing solutions provide members with financial relief and added convenience, while  providing new revenue streams for the credit union. Skip-a-Pay is a fully automated, loan payment deferral solution that allows members to control their loan payments. Quick Pay enables members to pay loans through a variety of sources with or without logging in to the credit unions’ digital banking.

"The bar for digital banking continues to rise as members demand comprehensive, intuitive platforms that give them complete control over their financial lives," said Siva Narendra, CEO of Tyfone. "Palmetto Citizen’s decision to move to nFinia reflects their commitment to meeting those expectations head-on. They understand the importance of working with a technology partner who views their success as our success and that's been the foundation of our relationship. We're dedicated to delivering tools that empower their members while strengthening the partnership that makes innovation possible.”
