Through UWBA’s impactful SparkPoint Centers, Patelco and UWBA advanced financial wellness initiatives, including the highly successful SPARK Your Savings Emergency Grant Program, designed to help low-income individuals build emergency savings and develop lasting financial habits. UWBA’s SparkPoint Centers work with families to meet their basic needs, increase their income, build their credit, increase their savings, and reduce their debt. Financial coaches at SparkPoint work one-on-one with clients to recognize behavioral outcomes, set goals, brainstorm strategies, and develop realistic action plans.
