Texans Credit Union Welcomes Jessie Swendig as Senior VP of Marketing and Business Development

Texans Credit Union (Texans), a leading credit union in North Texas, proudly announces the hiring of Jessie Swendig as the senior vice president of marketing and business development. With an impressive track record spanning over a decade, Swendig brings a wealth of experience to her new role, where she will be responsible for overseeing all marketing initiatives for the credit union. 
 
Before joining Texans, Swendig held the position of senior vice president of marketing and community impact at Neighborhood Credit Union, where her strategic contributions played a pivotal role in shaping the organization's long-term goals. Under her leadership, the credit union achieved a 75% year-over-year growth in the credit card portfolio. Her extensive experience positions her as a valuable asset as Texans continues to evolve and expand.

Swendig’s career includes notable achievements, such as leading a comprehensive brand refresh project encompassing a new logo, website redesign and facility updates. She served as the project lead for significant initiatives such as contactless card and mobile wallet implementations and the successful launch of checking products. Beyond her marketing expertise, she played a crucial role in executive communications and member onboarding for multiple credit union mergers. 
 
Swendig served as a board member for the Cornerstone League, a trade association for credit unions serving Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Missouri and Kansas. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture Business from Texas A&M University and is currently pursuing her MBA in Strategic Management at the University of North Texas.
