Velera, the nation’s premier payments credit union service organization (CUSO) and an integrated financial technology solutions provider, today announced it will provide Financial Center with debit and credit card processing services.

Headquartered in Indianapolis, Financial Center has offered checking, savings, loans and other financial services in Indiana for more than 70 years. The credit union has grown to serve over 60,000 members and holds $940 million in assets.

During its search for an ideal card processing partner, Financial Center sought an organization that could deliver more cost-effective solutions while working collaboratively to support the credit union’s growth. Financial Center evaluated multiple providers and chose Velera due to its mission-driven focus on credit unions.

“Every interaction with Velera has shown us what a true partnership looks like,” said Chris Sibila, SVP, Technology and Internal Operations at Financial Center. “Their team is fully invested in helping us grow our payments business, both now and in the future, and we are excited to see all that we will achieve together.”

Velera will begin providing debit and ATM support in July 2026, with credit services to follow in August.

“We are honored to partner with the Financial Center team as they advance their card programs and offerings,” said Tiffany Doty, SVP, Sales at Velera. “Our collaboration will help them operate more efficiently while providing members with greater flexibility, security and value every time they use their cards.”
