CUES former captain of the ship Fred Johnson did some tremendous things for the organization during his 23 years at the helm. The organization's new President/CEO Chuck Fagan, who stepped into the position just after the first of the year, will continue on with that tradition, adding some new twists and turns to CUES. To discover what Chuck's plans are for the organization, we invited him on the show to get some of the details -- along with his credit union background primarily working for PSCU. We also discussed how CUESwill look in 5-10 years and where the credit union industry will be as well. It was a pleasure having Chuck on the show and we look forward to checking back in with him later this year to see how things are progressing in his capacity. Enjoy the show.
Note: We shot this episode over the holidays as Chuck was transition between PSCU and CUES. So forgive the timing. Visit: cues.org Here is part two of our discussion with CUES President/CEO Fred Johnson calling it a career after 23 years at the helm of the Credit Union Executive Society (CUES). A great chat on leadership qualities, education initiatives he instilled at CUES, and much more. Many thanks for your service, Fred. Enjoy the show!
Visit: cues.org As we all know by now, CUES President/CEO Fred Johnson has called it a career after 23 years at the helm of the Credit Union Executive Society. So before he vacated his office for a well-groomed golf course somewhere on the globe, we invited him on the show to recollect his star-studded career helping shape one of the credit union industry's finest organizations. What we always get with Fred is a total candid talk. And he certainly doesn't disappoint in this two-part series. We discuss such items as three top highlights of his credit union career, who influenced him the most over the years, what he will miss the most, and much, much more. Enjoy the show!
