Shelley Carlson, EVP Marketing and Relationship Management at 1st University Credit Union, Michele Stone, President of Seez, and Mitch Rutledge, CEO of Vertice AI, all joined us on the show to share how the three organizations have teamed up to create and launch a new member growth initiative.

Michele, Mitch, and Shelley shared how they all worked together to help the credit unin with its new member growth initiative, providing innovative ways to fuel growth and strengthen members' financial well-being.

PSCU Chief Marketing Officer Tom Pierce and Advisors Plus Vice President Norm Patrick joined us on the show to share findings from the 2023 PSCU Eye on Payments study -- their 6th one since 2018.

Tom and Norm shared some of the key findings in the study -- some of which include:

mobile usage
debit usage
card vs. digital (demographics)
BNPL increase
crypto comeback
Apple card (despite the latest Goldman Sachs news)

They also revealed some new findings in this year’s study that were surprising -- one of which is the significance of card design with the younger generations. I guess the lesson here is make that plastic look good!

To wrap up, Tom and Norm named some of the key takeaways from this year’s study that credit unions can leverage to better serve their members in 2024.

Charles "Chaz" Pelletier, Information Systems Manager at Acadia Federal Credit Union, Rick DeLisi, Author and Lead Research Analyst at Glia, and Darin Garcia, Enterprise Customer Success Manager at Glia, all joined us on the show to discuss how Acadia has driven new efficiencies by centralizing member service on the Glia Interaction Platform.

Chaz talked about what was going on at Acadia that prompted the credit union to look at a tech solution like Glia, as wel as why they chose Glia.

Rick and Darin shared the implementation process of their Interaction Platform at Acadia, which led to Chaz detailing benefits and results experienced so far: Maintaining the personal touch through this unified platform, chat increase, co-browsing, staff can work from home if need be, reporting easier and consistent, simplified training, etc.
