Watch the 6:39 clip above and/or check out the entire episode below the show notes.
NCUA Chairman Todd Harper joined us on the show to share his thoughts on being the Administration's new Chair -- especially after his long history with the organization.

Harper also talked about some of his top items he would like to achieve as Chairman, as well as what industry issues keep him awake at night.

More specifically, he addressed the CUSO expanded lending powers proposal that is currently in the comments phase. In recent new articles, Harper has called the proposal the "wild west" and "not ready for prime time." He explains his reasoning behind these quotes.

Additionally, Harper shares his concerns regarding the plan to allow federal credit unions to purchase mortgage serving rights from other federally-insured credit unions as being “half-baked.” Again, he elaborates on his concerns for this proposal.

A very candid talk with Chairman Harper, who wants to be called Todd by the way -- saying its hard to find common ground with folks when there are hierarchies in the way. Enjoy the conversation and let us know your thoughts. And watch the entire episode with Todd below for all the details.
