Each year Executive Compensation Solutions produces The Survey: Employee and Executive Benefit Survey for the Credit Union Movement, a free resource that shows executive compensation trends throughout the credit union industry. Right now, ECS is conducting its "call for credit union participants" to participate in The Survey'squestionnaire. We talk with ECS's Adam Zelinsky to get the inside scoop on this annual report: what's inside, why they produce it, what trends they've seen over the years, etc. It's a pretty robust and comprehensive report that is, again, free for folks to have. Enjoy the program!

He was one of our original guests way, way back in December 2010. Scott has a wealth of credit union wisdom along with a Martini dry wit -- which makes for a fun and informative chat. In this episode, Scott talks about the latest on Check 21 solutions and he delivers his unique take on how ECM can drive social media. Very unique, yet logical, I say. Always entertaining and informative with Scott. Enjoy the program!
Visit: MVi.com Selling Oranges in the Winter: How ECM Can Drive Social Media PayPal is definitely the 800-pound gorilla in the payments arena and Dwolla's CEO, Ben Milne, is ready to show the industry that there's a new sheriff in town. In this intriguing interview we find out what the major differences are between Dwolla and PayPal -- and why Dwolla has made such a huge media splash as of late. Not only does this new financial tech company, which won the recent FinovateSpring 2011 Best of Show award, offer an interesting twist in online payments, but it has a few other innovative items up its sleeve. Ben was gracious enough to take time from his hectic schedule to divulge what's on the horizon for his new biz that will create some cool opportunities for credit unions. Enjoy the program!
Visit: Dwolla.com FinovateSpring 2011 presentation video I couldn't believe it when I first read about Evangelical Christian Credit Union's Matt Weidler winning CO-OP's THINK '11 top prize for his cell phone access to ATMs idea. I can certainly believe Matt won because he's a smart guy, but accessing an ATM with your cell phone ... now that piqued my interest. In this episode of CUbroadcast, Matt tells us how he came up with the idea, which is actually kind of funny, and how it all works. It was a pleasure having Matt on the show representing ECCU and I hope to be seeing and experiencing his cell phone ATM access idea at my credit union very soon! Congratulations Matt and enjoy the show!
Visit: Evangelical Christian Credit Union CO-OP THINK '11 Prize Winner Alright social media marketing mavens -- I think you'll "digg" this episode of CUbroadcast w/ Filene's Ben Rogers, as he discusses his latest study on social media's usage in the CUsphere. Ben provides some surprising results and reinforces some others, which may disuade or persuade you from venturing down the social media path. One of the many really cool things about this interview, other than Ben's a really smart dude, he conducted his portion of the interview from his iPad2. Very nice. Enjoy the program!
