The pandemic prompted business pivots worldwide for many reasons. For credit unions, it meant ramping up their digital services -- amongst other items.

To get one credit union's perspective on their pandemic pivot, we invited IDB Global Federal Credit Union COO Andrea Argueta and Glia CEO/Co-founder Dan Michaeli on the show. Andrea and Dan explained how the two organizations worked together to provide better member service during COVID with Glia's Digital Member Service platform.

IDB Global FCU serves members around the world in 76 countries but only has one branch. When the pandemic hit, the institution quickly implemented the Glia platform to better serve its members during this stressful time period.

Since leveraging the platform, the credit union has received positive member feedback; its member survey found that 42% of members were very satisfied with their banking experience while they operate remotely and 36% were satisfied.

IDB Global FCU leverages multilingual Digital Member Service to enable it to serve members in English and Spanish. Since going live on the platform, the credit union now has a 6-second average wait time for engagements.
