It's that time of the year for our annual outtake collection aptly named the Blooper Reel, where we showcase blunders, goof ups, and some general tomfoolery that occurred during our CUbroadcast productions throughout the year.

These are the clips that were left on the editing room floor. But we swept them up and pasted them together for some fun footage to send you a bit more good cheer this holiday season. It's our yearly gift to the industry to put a smile on your face, as we approach 2024 and all its unpredictability that's in store for us.

Yes, the work we do in this industry is serious. It's serious because credit unions literally change lives for the better. And all the surrounding efforts from leagues, associations, vendor partners, etc. support this monumental effort. But, on occasion,  it's good to let off a bit of steam and just laugh -- even at ourselves.

This is what our Blooper Reel represents -- an outtake adventure on some of the goofiness that occurs before and after (and sometimes during) our episodes.

We hope you enjoy this collection silliness. Again, it's our gift the industry that has given CUbroadcast so much wonderful content to deliver over the last 13 years. We thank you our audience, sponsors, and guests for supporting the work we do that, hopefully, enhances your job, helps a co-worker or a credit union, and/or shares some new information that benefits the industry as a whole -- ultimately, helping provide memorable, life-changing service to members worldwide.

It's truly an honor and a great privilege to help in some small way move this industry forward that fosters its growth, so it can continuing serving not only the current generation of members but the next generation of members, as well. Thank you, thank you for allowing us to come into your workplace, home, or on the road and deliver informative -- and sometimes entertaining -- content that simply helps.

Enjoy our 2023 Blooper Reel and look forward to seeing you all in 2024!

Link Financial Wellness’ Founder David Demsko stopped by the show to share the recent launch of his new company: Link Financial Wellness -- a co-branded solution that has been designed to provide customized financial wellness insight to members while increasing the opportunity for a credit union to deepen their relationship with them.

Along with telling us all about his new venture, David, formerly with Co-op Solutions, talked about why he made the jump from the CUSO to launching Link Financial Wellness and where he is in the process of offering it to credit unions.

David also talked about how Link was born as the result of a glaring need. Credit unions want to enhance the financial wellness of their members. It's in their DNA. To do so, a credit union needs to understand a member's full financial picture -- which, he admitted, this comprehensive view has been elusive.

He said that members are looking for an easy way to digest their full financial picture and for a way to help accelerate progress toward their goals -- and Link satisfies the needs of both. As a result, it deepens the member relationship and increases the credit union's bottom line.

Mitch provided a quick refresher on Vertice AI and how it works to help credit unions like Wellby Financial better serve their members using predictive analytics -- while Richard explained why they needed an organization like Vertice AI to up their game in the analytics department to benefit their members. It's paying off in big ways.
