This is Eric Mattson's second appearance on CUbroadcast talking about his highly popularFinovate Conferences. FinovateSpring 2011 is coming up in a couple of weeks, so we chatted about some of the cool tech presentations that are expected to "wow" the attendees and the FI industry. We also discussed how his first FinovateEurope (in London) show went a couple months ago. Sounds like it was a smashing success. To complement the Finovate presentations, we discussed tech trends that Eric sees based on the presentations chosen each year. Interesting stuff -- as always. Enjoy the program!

Always enjoy having the GonzoBanker folks on the show, as they bring their expertise chased with a little levity -- which makes for a good time. And Quintin certainly delivers. Enjoy our entertaining tech trends chat with Quintin!

I was thrilled and honored to conduct this interview with NCUA Chairman Debbie Matz. Our primary topic was her recent appointment to lead the FFIEC -- a position credit unions have oddly been absent from for 20 years. Well, we now have a proverbial seat at the table as Debbie discusses her goals, responsibilities, and what it will be like working shoulder-to-shoulder with banking industry officials. We also talked about how the NCUA-Safe Campaign with Suze Orman has been performing and the organization's recently launched MyCreditUnion.gov website. An incredibly informative, candid, and enjoyable interview you won't want to miss. It was a pleasure having Debbie on the show. Enjoy!

If you've ever purchased anything from online shoe store, Zappos!, or read the book "Delivering Happiness" by the company's CEO, Tony Hsieh, then you know how a quality culture can benefit the workplace -- and ultimately its profits. Well, The Mojo Company'sPresident & Principal Consultant, Matt Monge, is applying this same philosophy to the credit union industry. Matt talks about how building and maintaining a quality culture within the workplace can do nothing but benefit an organization -- morally and financially. Matt has a huge heart for credit unions and a ton of motivation to make this industry better and better. Enjoy the show!

Talking Dennis Dollar is like talking to a high school or college friend who you haven't seen in 10 or 15 years, but you can start right where you left off without missing a beat. A gregarious and motivating individual, it's no wonder he was elected to the Mississippi House of Representatives at the "ripe old age" of 22. A wonderful story there. We also talk about his firm, Dollar Associates, and his tenure with the NCUA -- both challenges and successes. Additionally, we touched on a bit of politics along with the many issues that are affecting the industry today. It was a pleasure and an honor to have him on the show. A lively and candid discussion I know you will enjoy.
