NAFCU President/CEO Dan Berger penned and posted a fact-filled Op-Ed in, of all places, American Banker magazine this week entitled: "Bank lobbyists’ hollow campaign against credit unions." Dan's article defended credit unions' difference and mission to the banking community as a strong rebuttal to the continuous attacks banks rain upon CUs.

A few of the key points outlined in the Op-Ed include:

Country’s largest banks dwarf top credit unions — each of the top bank’s assets, individually, are larger than the entire credit union industry
"Egregious offenses of trust" of financial crises ($174 billion in fines and settlements)
Who gains from the banker's argument to continually attack credit unions?
Credit unions could be scapegoat for the next recession

PSCU Vice President of Digital Solutions Priya Dozier provides us with a guided tour of the CUSO's Member Experience Center and how it will evolve over time to share the very latest in payments technology to benefit credit union members well into the future.
