Brenton Peck, Director of Financial Services Solutions at Financial Health Network, stopped by the Studio Lounge just after his opening keynote entitled: "A Little Cup of Happiness."

According to Brenton, like it or not, credit unions are in the business of happiness by being in the business of financial health. But, he said, we cannot simply assume people are happy or [financially] healthy because they say so. First off, are we even asking the right questions to get an accurate answer? And even when we are, the findings may surprise us.

Brenton then asked, how do credit unions help members live a happy and [financially] healthy life? He added that credit unions need to rewrite how they create value for members. It's a shift in mindset from wealth to health because healthy people are generally happier -- and lack of money is one of the major drivers of stress.

NACUSO24: FINOFR's Keith Kelly Introduces 'Post-Purchase' Vehicle Protection Reset Product...

Keith Kelly, CEO at FINOFR, stopped by the Studio Lounge to introduce yet another product that will benefit credit unions and their members. Keith and his FINOFR team, in partnership with Allied Solutions, has just launched Vehicle Protection Reset product, which will allow credit unions to increase efficiencies for their loan staff, drive non-interest income, and expand their product offering.

According to Keth, Vehicle Protection Reset essentially lets an automobile buyer choose insurance and other vehicle protection offerings after the sale at the dealership -- instead of during purchase process when the buyer is anxious to start enjoying their new car. This product allows the buyer to choose those protection offerings post purchase.

And all of this can be added into the loan -- after the fact -- and the loan can be adjusted from there through the credit union.

Obviously, there's a lot more to this product -- and Keith does a tremendous job in detailing how it all works to benefit the dealer, the member, and the credit union. Pretty slick stuff here, once again, from the FINOFR team.
