If you've watched, listened to, or read any amount of news the past few weeks, you'll know that COVID-19 pandemic has had a major impact on New York City and the surrounding communities. This area has been in the top headlines for the last two weeks at least.
To get a local perspective of what exactly is going on, we invited Mid-Hudson Valley Federal Credit Union VP of Community Impact Union Michael Mattone on the show. Since Mid-Hudson Valley FCU is located just outside NYC in Kingston, NY, Michael provided us with the current situation in the area and the credit union's response to the extreme conditions due to the coronavirus crisis -- how employees and members are being assisted during this challenging time.
Michael also talked about how they are dealing with the Paid Protection Program, how member behavior has changed in the last few weeks, importance of video tellers, how business may change forever, and much, much more.
Check it out and let us know your thoughts.
