Winning nationally-recognized, presidential awards is difficult enough to do once, but to accomplish such a feat twice is pretty remarkable. That's the story behind Elevations Credit Union winning the U.S. Department of Commerce's Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award -- an award established by the U.S. Congress in 1987 to raise awareness of quality management and recognize U.S. companies that have implemented successful quality management systems. The award is the nation's highest presidential honor for performance excellence.

Elevations first won the award in 2014 and again this year (2020) using the Baldrige Excellence Framework, which focuses on leadership, strategic planning, customer focus, measurement, analysis and knowledge management, workforce focus, operations focus and results. Elevations is the first and only credit union to receive this award and the only Colorado organization to receive it twice.
