To get the significance of this transfer and what it means to credit unions, as well as the status of eClosings, we invited Truliant Federal Credit Union Vice President of Mortgage Services Beth Eller on the show. Beth shared how Truliant has participated in a pilot with FHL Bank Atlanta to transfer the eNote.
To participate and accomplish this eNote transfer, Beth shared with us that Truliant met extensive FHLB requirements of eSignature, eNote documentation, eClosing, eRegistry, and eNote vault, among others, to transfer the note.
Beth also discussed where Truliant goes from here – what other parts of the mortgage ecosystem are still to be touched by eClosings. In addition, she addressed why do this now if the capability’s been out there for many years already?
Pretty exciting for credit unions. Check it out and let us know your thoughts when you get a chance. And be sure to watch the entire episode with Beth below for all the details.
