Everyday credit unions help change their members' lives for the better. We heard thousands of those stories during the pandemic and it continues post-COVID -- just as it always has.

Well, we have another story for you in this category and that's HOPE Credit Union using its Transformational Deposit Program. This program seeks to import $100 million in low-cost, federally insured Transformational Deposits into opportunity deserts across the Deep South. Socially conscious depositors can help the Jackson, Miss.-based credit union achieve that goal by choosing to open a certificate or money market account at below-market rates.
