Aux’s VP of Analytics Tim Tibbals and Business Development Associate Bridgette Mayon stopped by the show to share their insights on the power of predictive analytics for today's credit unions via its data analytics solution: Cuery.

Both Bridgette and Tim provided a quick overview of Cuery, which is designed specifically for small- to mid-sized credit unions that want to utilize predictive analytics and Ai machine learning but may not have the in-house resources to do so. Cuery's affordability by using the cloud and a shared services model can help these credit unions fulfill this goal.

In addition, they talked about how data analytics benefit credit unions, as all data is integrated into one trusted source that helps data driven decision-making for memberships, products, strategy, growth -- ultimately increasing efficiencies, revenue, loans, interest income, interchange income, and share of wallet.

Tim and Bridgette detailed more about the predictive analytics -- and how it can benefit a credit union in today's highly competitive marketplace. Cuery utilizes a model called "Next Best Product" based on AI machine learning and identifies products your members are most likely to need or want based on their situation.

Lastly, they addressed what the biggest hurdle is that might be preventing some credit unions from taking the data analytics plunge:

• The real lack of understanding of what data analyitcs is and what it can do
• The perceived size and complexity of it being considered “a project”
• The perceived cost
• That it’s not a typical “plug and play” type service
• Just getting started
