The Brainy Business’s Founder/CEO Melina Palmer joined us on the show to share the publishing of her new book:
“What Your Employees Need and Can’t Tell You: Adapting to Change with the Science of Behavioral Economics.” (officially out on October 11, 2022)

Melina provided a quick overview of her new book -- which is essentially all about change. And this topic is so very timely in today's very unique, post-COVID labor market.

The book is divided up into three parts and Melina explains why she modeled it this way:

1. Big Plans and Micro-Moments
2. Biases and Concepts
3. Change Framework

Here are some of the items Melina addresses in the book -- and we discussed a few of them, too:

• Culture, change, and the brain
• Unlocking the secrets of the brain
• What happens in a “change or else” environment?
• A "DOSE" of chemicals

Lastly, she shares the significance of this book for credit unions, as she was a former credit union executive at Verity Credit Union. So she knows the territory well.
