AI continues to dominate today's financial services headlines, as Origence and Zest AI's partnership creates a new AI-automated, underwriting tech tool called Zest Auto. Zest Auto looks to vastly expand a credit union's lending audience, as well helping approve more loans with minimized risk.

To give us all the details, we invited Origence’s VP of Partnerships Bill Lynch and Zest AI’s Head of Strategic Initiatives Kathryn Bonesteel on the show. Both Bill and Kathryn shared the benefits of their organizations' partnership and what exactly Zest Auto is and how it integrates Zest AI's machine learning (AI) underwriting technology with Origence's consumer origination platform.

They also talked about how the new Zest Auto technology expands the decisioning options available to credit unions, solving the need for lenders to make faster, more accurate decisions, while approving more loans with minimized risk. Initial data gathering by Zest AI has shown an increase of up to 20 percent in auto loan approvals and reaching over 50 percent automation.

According to Zest AI’s internal studies, credit unions utilizing Zest Auto can expand credit to protected classes and help lift approvals. By combining the reach of Origence’s CUDL indirect lending network with Zest AI’s technology, credit unions will have access to the tools needed to continue their mission to provide fair and equitable credit.
