Stories like this simply rock. Travis County Credit Union, a $29 million institution with 3,000 members located in Austin, Texas, has grown its lending portfolio 51%. Nearly every credit union on planet Earth would enjoy having its portfolio blossom like a redwood on steroids. So we invited the credit union's fearless leader and President, Wayne Watters, on the show to see just how he did it.

We discussed with Wayne how Travis County's lending went from flat to fantastic, specific steps he took to spark and fuel this turnaround, plans to keep these good times rolling, and advice for other credit unions looking to emulate this success.

Congrats to Wayne and his CU. Nice to see another CU growing lending! UTFCU grew 43% over 4 years of my tenure and we saw it from similar places as Travis County.
