One of the more imaginative and fun marketing efforts of 2011, San Diego County Credit Union hired a couple dozen actors and actresses to portray greedy, stuffy, fee-hungry bankers storming the San Diego beaches on Labor Day. Startled beach-goers soon got the picture that the underlying message showed credit unions are the better choice to manage their money. We invited SDCCU's President & CEO Teresa Halleck on the show to discuss this entertaining guerilla marketing strategy complementing its already greedy bankers ad campaign that's sweeping San Diego.
