Now that social media has been embraced and leveraged quite nicely in credit union land, it is now considered a necessary communications channel to consistently engage with members -- especially for immediate two-way communication. The downside of this channel is that its requires a fair amount of time to maintain each day for it to be effective. As we know all too well, many credit unions struggle with the proper resources to be consistent with their social media communication efforts.
