Lois Kitsch, ACCOCSA (Pan-African Trade association for credit unions) Chair, and George Ombado the Executive Director of ACCOSCA, both joined us in the Studio Lounge to share their announcement about the "Climb Africa" program.
According to Lois and George, Climb Africa is a program/fundraiser to build a new training academy to all African Credit Unions. Now comes the fun part -- a team of credit union professionals will climb Tanzania's Mount Kilimanjaro to raise funds that will help build and run the academy.
A truly exciting opportunity not just for credit union folks to climb one of the world's most famous mountains but to provide financial education for Africans from all the continent's nations.
By the way, Lois has climbed Mount Kilimanjaro twice -- and she's going for a third. Check it out and let us know your thoughts.
