NACUSO President/CEO Jack Antonini announced his retirement earlier this month (March 2023), which will take place officially later this year. It was a major announcement to the industry, as Jack has helped build NACUSO into a leading organization that promotes innovation, inclusion, and growth for credit unions -- among many other items.
This year's NACUSO Network was not only a celebration of the continued growth of CUSOs, but it was also a celebration of Jack's tremendous impact on this segment of the industry -- which has never been more significant. The impact CUSOs have on credit unions today ia a direct result of Jack's vision and his talented team's execution of that direction. And he'll be the first to admit that it takes a talented team and a forward-thinking Board to fulfill today's thriving CUSO community.
That said, we sat down with Jack for a very enlightening conversation about his retirement, what attracted him to credit unions -- and, ultimately, NACUSO, his time at USAA and Cardtronics, Sarah Bang's influence, Linda Bodie's leverage of CUSOs, advice for the organization's next leader, and much, much more.
