When MasterCard's "Selfie Pay" first came out last year, it made tons of headlines. When it went to work for First Tech Federal Credit Union shortly thereafter, it once again made headlines -- include on CUbroadcast, where we featured the technology as a pilot program with First Tech's Brian Ziff-Levine (episode #460).
Almost a year later, we have a solid user update from First Tech's Vice President Card Payments Terry Rodrick and MasterCard's Executive VP, MasterCard Worldwide John Ainsworth. We discuss "Selfie Pay" status, what this technology implemented at First Tech says about the industry and the credit union, why this technology is so important today, what steps a credit union should take to embark on an endeavor such as this one, and what's next for this technology.
A definite eye-opening chat from an established and successful "Selfie Pay" user. Check it out and let us know your thoughts.
